RoofAngle LLC ("RoofAngle," "we," "us," or "our") is a Wyoming limited liability company operating roofangle.com. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information you share with us.

This Privacy Policy explains:

• What information we collect and why
• How we use, store, and protect it
• Who we share it with
• Your rights and choices

By using our website or services you confirm you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2.1 Information You Give Us Directly

When you register, order a report, or contact us, we collect:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Property addresses submitted for report orders
• Files you choose to attach to an order, such as photographs or a PDF
• Your device's location, only if you use the "My location" button and allow your browser to share it
• Messages submitted through our contact form or by email
• Account preferences and settings

Location is only ever read when you press "My location" while placing an order, and only if your browser asks you and you agree. It is used once, to look up the address you are standing at so you do not have to type it. We do not track your location in the background, and we do not keep it as a record of where you have been. What is stored with the order is the property location you confirmed on the map, which is part of the order itself.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

• IP address
• Browser type, version, and language
• Device type and operating system
• Pages visited, time on page, and navigation flow
• Referring website or traffic source
• Date and time of each visit

2.3 Payment Information

We do not collect, process, or store your card number, CVV, or expiration date. Payment data goes directly to Stripe, Inc. via their secure servers. We receive only a transaction confirmation, your name, and basic billing details. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your account
• Processing your orders and delivering your Reports
• Sending order confirmations, delivery notifications, and essential account communications
• Responding to your support requests and contact form messages
• Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse
• Improving and maintaining our website and services
• Complying with applicable legal obligations
• Enforcing our Terms of Use

We will only send promotional or marketing emails if you have explicitly opted in.

We do not use your data to train AI or machine learning models, and we do not permit any third party to do so.

4. Property Address Data

Property addresses you submit are used solely to generate the Report you ordered. They are stored in your account order history for your reference and reorder convenience.

We do not use property addresses for marketing, profiling, data brokering, or any other purpose. We do not sell, rent, or share property address data with any third party except as described in Section 7.

4.1 Files You Upload

When placing an order you may attach files relating to the property, such as photographs of damage, a sketch, or a blueprint or plan set. We accept PNG and JPEG images and PDF documents. Attaching files is optional; an order can be completed without them.

Files are used solely to produce the Report you ordered. They are visible to the RoofAngle analysts working on that order and are stored on our behalf by Amazon Web Services. We do not use them for marketing, training artificial intelligence or machine learning systems, or any purpose other than fulfilling your order, and we do not sell or share them except as described in Section 7.

Files are stored exactly as you upload them and are not modified or compressed. Please note that photographs taken on a phone or camera can carry embedded metadata, including the time taken and the location where they were taken, and that PDFs can carry author and revision information. If you would prefer not to share that, remove it before uploading.

Once an order is placed, files attached to it cannot be added to or removed, because our analysts may already be working from them and the order keeps a record of what was supplied. See Section 8 for how long they are kept and Section 11 for how to request deletion.

5. Report File Access

Delivered Report files are available for download from your account dashboard for 60 days from the date of delivery. After 60 days you are no longer able to access or retrieve the Report.

Your account itself is not deleted. Your order history, billing records, and account information remain accessible for as long as your account is active. Only your access to the downloadable Report file ends after the 60-day window.

We strongly recommend downloading and saving your Reports to your own storage immediately after delivery.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies:

• Essential cookies: required for the website to function, including keeping you logged in. Cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
• Analytics cookies: used to understand how visitors use our site. We use Google Analytics (GA4).
• Tag management: we use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy our analytics scripts.

You can control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Our website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

7.1 Service Providers

We share data with trusted providers under strict confidentiality obligations:

• Stripe, Inc.: Payment processing (name, email, transaction details)
• Google: Property search, analytics & tag management (address input, anonymised usage data)
• Amazon Web Services, Inc.: Hosting and file storage, including report files and any photos you attach to an order
• Zapier, Inc.: Order automation, and only where you choose to connect your own Zapier account

7.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information in good faith if required to comply with applicable law, respond to a legitimate government or law enforcement request, or protect the rights, property, or safety of RoofAngle, our users, or the public.

7.3 Business Transfer

If RoofAngle undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will notify you by email and through a prominent website notice at least 30 days before any such transfer.

7.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose only with your explicit prior consent.

8. Data Retention

• Report files: You can download them for 60 days after delivery. After that you are no longer able to access or retrieve them.
• Files you upload: You can view them in your account for 30 days from the date you upload them. After that you are no longer able to access or retrieve them.
• Account data and order history: Retained while your account is active and for up to 3 years after your last order for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and financial record-keeping.
• Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time. See Section 11.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption on all pages
• HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite cookie flags on authentication tokens
• Password hashing: we never store passwords in plain text
• Role-based access controls on a strict need-to-know basis
• Regular review of our security practices and third-party service providers
• Files you upload are checked against their actual file signature rather than their name, stored under keys we generate, kept separate from other customers' files, and scanned for malware

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@roofangle.com.

If a breach occurs. If personal information is exposed in a way that creates a real risk of harm, we will notify the people affected and the relevant regulators without undue delay, and tell you what was involved and what we are doing about it.

Where your data is held. RoofAngle is a United States company and our systems, including Amazon Web Services storage and our payment and analytics providers, are located in the United States. If you order from Canada or anywhere outside the United States, your information is transferred to and stored in the United States, where it may be accessible to United States authorities under United States law. By using our services you understand this transfer takes place. We apply the protections described in this policy to your information wherever it is held.

10. Children's Privacy

RoofAngle is a business-to-business service for professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data
• Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing at any time

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, how we use it, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. RoofAngle does not sell personal information. To exercise CCPA rights email support@roofangle.com with subject "CCPA Request."

To exercise any right: Email support@roofangle.com with subject "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

12. Marketing Communications

We only send promotional emails to users who have explicitly opted in. To unsubscribe:

• Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or
• Email support@roofangle.com with subject "Unsubscribe"

Unsubscribing from marketing does not remove you from transactional emails such as order confirmations, report delivery notices, and password resets.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites including our social media pages. These sites operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will update the Last Updated date and notify you by email. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
