Terms of Use

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and RoofAngle LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("RoofAngle," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing roofangle.com, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT USE OUR WEBSITE OR SERVICES.

By using our services you also confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are using RoofAngle for professional or legitimate business purposes only
• You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organization
• You are not prohibited from using our services under any applicable law

Our services are intended solely for business professionals including roofing contractors, insurance adjusters, public adjusters, siding installers, restoration contractors, and commercial property professionals.

2. Description of Services

RoofAngle provides aerial roof and wall measurement reports ("Reports") delivered electronically in ESX and XML formats, with an optional PDF diagram. Every Report is reviewed by a member of our measurement team before delivery.

Reports are delivered within 12 hours as standard. Rush delivery is available for an additional charge and shortens that window; the rush time offered depends on the report ordered and is shown at checkout. Rush is charged per report, so ordering several reports for one property as rush is charged for each. Delivery times are targets rather than guarantees. See Section 5.

How Reports are produced: Reports are measured remotely from aerial and satellite imagery licensed from commercial imaging providers. We do not visit, enter, inspect, or physically measure any property, and no part of a Report is based on an on-site survey. Imagery is captured on the provider's schedule, not ours, and the most recent imagery available for a property may be months or years old. A Report therefore reflects the property as it appeared in that imagery. It will not show additions, alterations, storm damage, repairs, or replacements that happened after the capture date, and it cannot show anything the imagery does not resolve, such as detail hidden by tree cover, shadow, snow, or a shallow capture angle.

Important limitations: Reports are professional data products intended for use in roofing estimation, insurance claims, material takeoffs, and related business activities. Reports are not engineering certifications, structural assessments, building inspection documents, legal opinions, appraisals, or determinations of insurance coverage, and no part of a Report is professional advice. They must not be relied upon as a substitute for on-site professional inspection.

Your responsibility to verify: You are the professional on the job and the decisions you make from a Report are yours. You agree to review each Report and to verify its measurements against the property before you rely on them, and in particular before ordering materials, pricing or submitting a bid, entering into a contract, or settling, adjusting, or paying a claim. Where the stakes of an error are material, verification means physically checking the property. If a Report does not match the property in front of you, stop and contact us under Section 6 rather than proceeding on it.

3. Account Registration

To place an order you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it up to date at all times
• Keep your password confidential and not share your login credentials with any third party
• Use a strong, unique password for your account
• Notify us immediately at support@roofangle.com if you suspect unauthorized access
• Take full responsibility for all activity under your account, whether or not authorized by you

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that provides false information, violates these Terms, or engages in conduct harmful to RoofAngle, our customers, or any third party.

4. Orders and Payment

Placing an Order: By submitting an order you represent that you have lawful authority to order a report for the property address submitted and that all information you provide is accurate.

Pricing: All prices are in US dollars on our Services page at the time of order. Prices may change at any time. The price shown at checkout is the price charged.

Rush Delivery: Rush delivery is an optional paid add-on. Stated timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Availability may be limited during high-volume periods.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. RoofAngle does not collect, store, or access your card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment data. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. By using our checkout you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Pricing Errors: In the event of a pricing error we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Order Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent to your registered address. Check your spam folder if not received within a few minutes.

4.1 API Access

Where we issue API credentials, they are yours alone and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for every order, charge, and action made using your credentials, whether or not you authorised it, and must tell us at support@roofangle.com as soon as you believe they have been exposed.

You may use the API to order Reports and retrieve your own files. You may not use it to resell access, to place orders for properties you have no lawful authority to order for, or to retrieve anything belonging to another account. We may apply rate limits, and may suspend or revoke credentials that threaten the stability or security of the service, or that breach Section 8.

Reports ordered through the API are governed by these Terms in full, including pricing, delivery, revisions, and the limits in Sections 14 and 15. The same applies to orders placed through an integration you connect, such as Zapier; anything you connect acts on your behalf and at your risk.

4.2 Partner Accounts and Shared Balances

Partner accounts may hold a shared balance and may invite team members. The account owner is responsible for everything their members do, including orders they place and charges those orders incur, and for removing members who should no longer have access.

A shared balance is credit toward Reports, not a deposit or a stored-value account. It is applied to orders as they are placed and carries no interest. Refunds of unused balance follow Section 7. Volume pricing and any billing arranged by invoice apply only as set out in a separate written partner agreement; where that agreement and these Terms conflict, the partner agreement governs for that account.

4.3 Taxes

Prices shown exclude sales, use, VAT, GST, HST, and any similar taxes. Where we are required to collect such taxes they are added at checkout. Where we are not, you remain responsible for any tax due on your purchase. You are responsible for your own income and business taxes.

5. Delivery and 60-Day Report Access

Reports are delivered electronically to your RoofAngle account dashboard. You will receive an email notification when your report is ready.

60-Day Access Window: Delivered Reports are available for download from your account dashboard for 60 days from the date of delivery. After 60 days you are no longer able to access or retrieve the Report. We strongly recommend downloading and saving your Report immediately after delivery. RoofAngle is not responsible for any loss resulting from failure to download before the 60-day window expires.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on order volume, property complexity, and aerial imagery availability. If your report is significantly delayed, contact support@roofangle.com.

6. Report Accuracy and Free Revisions

Every Report is reviewed by our measurement team before delivery. Our accuracy rate is based on internal quality records tracking revision requests against total delivered reports. On that measure our accuracy rate is approximately 98%.

That figure is a historical description of our delivered reports as a whole. It is not a representation, warranty, guarantee, or term of this agreement, no Report is sold on the basis of it, and it creates no standard any individual Report is promised to meet. Where a Report does contain an error, your remedy is the free revision set out below.

Reports are measured from high-resolution aerial and satellite imagery sourced from commercial imaging providers. Imagery resolution and capture date vary by location, and no imagery provider covers every property to the same standard. Where the available imagery limits what can be measured for a particular property, that limitation carries into the Report. See the revision exclusions below.

If you believe your Report contains a measurement error (including incorrect facet boundaries, pitch values, missing measurements, or formatting issues), contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@roofangle.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will remeasure and redeliver at no charge.

This is your sole remedy. The free revision described above, or a refund where Section 7 provides for one, is your sole and exclusive remedy for any error, omission, or inaccuracy in a Report. Reporting an issue within the 7-day window is a condition of that remedy. Nothing here limits a right that cannot be waived under applicable law, and this paragraph is subject to Section 15.

Free revisions do not apply to:

• Requests based on aerial imagery quality limitations inherent to the property
• Requests submitted more than 7 days after original delivery
• Requests that represent a change in scope from the original order

7. Refund Policy

All sales are final once a Report has been delivered to your account dashboard, due to the digital nature of our products.

A full refund will be issued only if:

• We are unable to complete your Report due to aerial imagery unavailability
• A technical error on our end prevents delivery of a usable Report

Cancelling before delivery: Orders enter production as soon as they are placed. If you ask to cancel before delivery we will do so where measuring has not yet started. Once an analyst has begun work on your property the order is no longer refundable.

Refunds are not available where:

• The Report was produced for the address you submitted and that address turned out to be wrong. Please check the address and the map pin before you pay.
• You are unable to open or work with the delivered file in Xactimate, Symbility, or other third-party software. Section 12 sets out our position on third-party services, and our support team will help where it can.
• An order was placed in duplicate or is no longer needed, once production has begun.

Please contact support@roofangle.com before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use our services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Submit property addresses for properties you have no lawful authority to order reports for
• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information at any point
• Share account credentials or allow third parties to place orders through your account
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Reports without prior written permission
• Use Reports or derived data to train, develop, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning system without our express prior written consent
• Reverse engineer, replicate, or copy our measurement methodology, workflow, or systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access our website or place orders
• Interfere with or damage the operation of our website or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
• Upload files you do not have the right to share, or that relate to anything other than the property being measured
• Upload files containing malicious code, or attempt to disguise a file as an image or a PDF

9. License to Use Reports

Upon delivery and full payment, RoofAngle grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Report for your own internal professional business purposes only.

Your license to access the Report through our platform is valid for 60 days from the date of delivery. After 60 days the Report you are no longer able to access or retrieve it. Downloading and storing your Report before the access window expires is entirely your responsibility.

This license does not include the right to resell, sublicense, publicly distribute, or use Reports for AI training. All underlying data, imagery, methodology, software, and intellectual property remain the sole property of RoofAngle LLC or its licensors.

The license runs to the account that placed the order. It terminates automatically, without notice, if you breach these Terms, and any copy of the Report you hold at that point must no longer be used or shared.

9.1 Files You Upload

You may attach files to an order as reference material, such as photographs, a sketch, or a blueprint. You keep ownership of any file you upload. By uploading it you grant RoofAngle permission to store it and use it for the sole purpose of producing and supporting the Report you ordered.

You confirm that you have the right to share each file you upload, and that it relates to the property being measured. We accept PNG and JPEG images up to 10MB each and PDF documents up to 25MB each, with a limit of 10 files per report.

Once an order is placed, files attached to it cannot be added to or removed, because our analysts may already be working from them. Files are treated as reference material only: they do not change the scope of the Report, and we do not warrant that any particular detail contained in a file will be reflected in the measurements. In particular, attaching a blueprint or plan set does not mean the Report will be measured from it; Reports are measured from aerial imagery as described in Section 2.

You can access files you upload for 30 days. After 30 days you are no longer able to access or retrieve them through your account. Retention is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Files must relate to the order they are attached to. This is not a general file store, a message channel, or a place for anything unrelated to the property being measured.

If an upload breaches Section 8 we may remove it without notice, refuse further uploads from your account, and suspend or terminate your account under Section 19, without refund. Where an upload is unlawful, or appears to depict the abuse or exploitation of any person, we will report it to law enforcement and preserve and disclose the account, order, and access records they require. We reserve every legal remedy available to us, and you remain responsible under Section 16 for what you upload.

10. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about our services, you grant RoofAngle a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, adapt, and incorporate that feedback into our services without any obligation to compensate you.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on roofangle.com (including design, layout, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and measurement methodologies) is the property of RoofAngle LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable US and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from any content on our website without prior written consent. The RoofAngle name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of RoofAngle LLC.

Xactimate® is a registered trademark of Xactware Solutions, Inc. (Verisk). Symbility is a trademark of CoreLogic, Inc. ESX is a file format associated with Xactware Solutions, Inc. RoofAngle is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Verisk, Xactware Solutions, or CoreLogic. These names are used only to describe the file formats and estimating software our reports are compatible with.

12. Third-Party Services

RoofAngle integrates with the following third-party services:

• Stripe, Inc.: payment processing
• Google: property address search, website analytics, and tag management

Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party provider.

13. Force Majeure

RoofAngle shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including aerial imagery outages, natural disasters, extreme weather, internet or infrastructure failures, government actions, cyber-attacks, or third-party service provider failures. If we cannot complete your order due to a force majeure event, you will receive a full refund.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RoofAngle LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any property address you submit; (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (e) any claim brought by a person who received a Report, or any figure taken from one, through you, including any claim that they relied on it.

17. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Informal Resolution First: Contact us at support@roofangle.com and allow 30 days for informal resolution before filing any formal claim.

Binding Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English.

Class Action Waiver: All proceedings shall be on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against RoofAngle.

Opt-Out Right: You may opt out of the arbitration agreement within 30 days of creating your account by emailing support@roofangle.com with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your name and account email. If you opt out, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes we will update the Last Updated date and notify you by email. Continued use after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or conduct harmful to our platform. Sections 9 through 17 survive termination.

20. Entire Agreement and Severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RoofAngle regarding your use of our services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or your account, without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms bind and benefit each party's permitted successors.
